I really use to like this place, but they have become too corporate. It was a busy day and my mother has asthma, and I wanted to get her seated ASAP, so I ran to the host stand ahead of my family. I gave them our name and said I need a table asap because my mother has a medical condition, and they ignored me and started seating people who walked in behind me until my family walked in, and then we had to wait and my sick mother had to stand in the heat. I have gone to Landry's and done this without a problem, but the Pappa's family has too many rules. I did like the cozy bar, but that is the only thing nice I have to say.
