I purchased and paid in FULL for a puppy wellness package for my puppy Murphy and also renewed and paid in full a adult wellness package for my Bella. Today 5-20-11 my puppy Murphy had an emergency and I called Banfield to schedule an emergency visit, I brought him right over as told by the secretary and when I got there I was seated in waiting room. In less than 5 minutes I was denied service because of a $27.95 hold on my account (as I was told). They refused to tend to my puppy for $27 and could not explain to me why if my mother had paid this in full, do I owe this? I was outraged at how obvious it is just ALL ABOUT MONEY! The employees showed no concern, they just cared to collect. I demanded the corporate's phone number and called for an explanation. The representative was no better, she told me that Murphy's puppy package had AUTOMATICALLY renewed over to the adult package and that $27.95 must be paid before he is seen. I told her to cancel my Bella and Murphy's packages and that I was not happy at all with how Banfield and Corporate handled the situation. Needless to say they REFUSED to credit my account for the next 6 months for bella because I would no longer take my dogs to them! BANFIELD YOU ARE A DISGRACE AND ARE ALL ABOUT THE $$$, YOU CARE NOTHING FOR ANIMALS AND CORPORATE IS EVEN WORSE!!! more
