Yesterday I had apointments for a lower-left filling and then teeth-cleaning. My numbing required three shots to take effect, so I finally felt like 1/2 of my head was numb but that was what I asked for. Dr. Ballard was very careful not to have me bite down on the new filling in case I might have seriously bit my numbed tongue. And I did not!! So while it seemed that I was in the chair much longer than I would have liked, the procedures went well.
