Selected this practice in part because Dr. Kate had trained, taught, and taken advanced courses at University of Michigan, in addition to receiving her dental degree from University of Maryland. Big 10 dental schools have a superior reputation. Office procedures, including registration and insurance verification simple and smooth. Environment very nice, staff well trained and accommodating, no waiting for intake or appointment, and no problem honoring latex allergy with nalgene gloves. Hygienist was gentle (my teeth/gums are a bit sensitive), explained process and what she was doing, did x-rays seamlessly, provided the right amount of education, and handed off quickly to dentist Dr. Kate. Dentist Dr. Kate was pleasant, allowed plenty of time to ask questions and converse about my dental situation and explained everything thoroughly. Took extra time to explore sensitive tooth to rule out root damage, and noted a couple situations that required watching at subsequent appointments. Overall I was very satisfied with appointment...staff, process, professionalism, attention to detail, and entire environment.
