Well I wasn't going to provide any comments, however, since I was asked... I've come back to Driver's Auto a few times now and have been impressed with the service. I was a bit concerned with the charges at my previous visit for A/C service. This A/C service the charges exceeded the prior visit by ~25% and it appears that less work/parts were necessary. I understand the vehicles are different however $1000 for a few minor parts/labor seemed high compared to the $700 bill I paid for major parts/labor the last time. They tried to ease my concern by offering to comp a few items (oil change & inspection)...however, I was unable to use the inspection because the shop couldn't perform inspections on Pre-1996 vehicles (dyno not working). I was also disappointed that a few of the old parts (gasket ring & siphon tube) were left on the inside cowl under the hood with some grease. I had to remove them and clean the area afterward. I don't mind paying extra if I get extra, but this service, I really felt like I got "taken for a ride".
