We had brought our 10 year old tabby Sparky to another vet and were told we could have his leg amputated or just take him home- they said he had a tumor and did not give us any choice other than the above.\r
About 2 weeks later Dr.Lugten saw Sparky, gave him a thorough exam, took fluid from the cyst and sent it for a biopsy. Dr. L. called several days later, talked to me for at least 20 minutes, saying that it may be necessary to drain the fluid again, that Sparky might live for 6 months, that the cyst may harden and be more uncomfortable for Spsrky. Although the resulting info was not much more hopeful, I felt that Dr.Lugten took much more interest in our cat (referring to him by name several times in our phone conversation), and showed much more sensitivity. \r
I'm glad I went there and will continue to bring both of my cats to Dr. Lugten's office.
