I wrote this feedback to help out others that may end up in the same situation that I was. I received a quote from Fred's Transmission and Clutch because, much to my suprise, the transmission on my 2008 vehicle went out. I didn't feel like they really wanted to explain to me my options and treated me like there were no other options to fix my car but them. In addition to Fred's, I received quotes from several competitors as well. I was hesitant to call the Chevy dealership because I've always heard their prices are much higher, but decided to call anyway. When I called, I was so shocked! The Chevy dealer in my area was sooooo much more reasonable than the quote I received from Fred's for the same services, and they tossed in a discount on a new set of Goodyear tires AND came to my house and towed the car all for less than the quote Fred's gave me!!!
