For all of you who had good experience with the well drilling services of D & E, I am very happy for you. Now you to your well and chack to see how deep it is. I promise you, it is not as deep as it is suppose to be. Here is my deal with D & E well drilling.\r
These people will try very hard to sell you bunch of crap you do not need and do not deliver what you need. \r
They drilled a shollow well. typically for irrigation, instead of what was on the contarct as a mid level, 60-80 feet deep well for consumption.\r
The son of owner argued for an hour with me over the phone and then told me that the owner, his dad, will call me at the end of the week as he is out of town. I had to threaten him with a lawsuit for cost of delaying construction and he actually hung up on me. Then he calls me back in 30 minutes and aplogizes and tries again to talk me out of demanding what I am paying for. Of course, I was not buying their excuses. After almost another week they show up and driil the aditional 20 feet. Then comes the day of equipment installation, and they brought this tiny little softner, and the techician says that is normal size. When I went home and looked at my notes from the conversation I had with their agent, John, I was promised model 1054, they installed a 1040. Needless to say I called, and guess who answered, the son of owner. He said that is not specifically mentioned in my contract and for additional $300 they will change the unit for me (to the one I was promised).\r
I tell you what, find yourself someone else than These people. Even then, be on site and keep track of how far they drill. Every last bit of what you are promised (the equipments and services), have it in writing. I never thought they will be that cheap to change the softner size. This is a 6-bathroom house and ask any plumber and they will tell you the appropriate size is 1054, and that is why every last one of contarctors I called said that is what they will install 1054, Including D & E. The funny part is since the tank was specifically written as 80 gal, they brought this big tank, with this tiny little softner.\r
Trust me when I tell you that you need to be there when the drillers are drilling your well no matter who you hire to drill your well. For your sake, I hope it won't be D & E pump. I wanted to give them zero star but it does not give that as an option.
