when carmen and ricky first opened the cafe up in the late 50s myself and 4 other teens where constant customers there to the point these 2 great guys gave us a charge account up to 5 dollars. utica is fortunate to have a half block away this and the florentine..the canolis rum cake almond cookis the coffee the best anywhere.and i mean anywhere.the place looks and smells the same today.just awsome.carmen rip old friend.
