My wife and I were in yesterday to purchase a new tree for our front yard and found a great Ash tree that happen to be on sale for 20% off. Upon making our purchase my wife asked if the the clerk had applied the discount and she said she had not. She took the time and went back through the process and added the 20% discount to our purchase. The following day the sales manager called and informed me that the discount had already been removed at the time of the purchase and that the clerk and accidentally applied an additional 20%. She asked to charge our card the $27 difference for the the clerk's error. That I can recollect that the first time I have been asked by a sales based company to fix their error. I definetly won't be making any purchases from Echters in the for seeable future.
