Anchor Moving is absolutely the WORST moving/delivery company I have ever worked with. White Glove Moving was amazing they could get a product delivered from NC to Menomonee Falls WI FASTER than Anchor Moving could get the same package delivered 207 miles. I have waited 7 days for them to get their lazy, non solution based, self focused, rude, whiney attitued adjusted long enough for them to just DO THE JOB they are being paid to do. 207 mile delivery, for 1 package, I was told would take 16-17 DAYS to get to me! The definition of incompetent = ANCHOR Moving! My 1 package was recived at their dock on the 5th of the month, told they load truck on 6th for delivery drivers to deliver to my geography on the 7th and 8th of month. Dispatcher Matt told me the reason my package was not loaded on the 6th and I will need to wait until the 22nd of the month was because - We had people out sick and didn't get your package loaded on the truck, we are back in you area in 2 WEEKS, you'll get it then. LAZY LAZY LAZY! What more can you say to this rotten work ethic! This is my second separate transaction where an original carrier (that did all they were supposed to do) handed off the delivery for the last 207 miles to Anchor Moving and they botched it! Bad. Last experience - took 1/2 day off from work because Anchor said they would deliver between 12pm and 4pm. They did not arrive. They did NOT call. I called dispatch after 4 inquiring what was going on. After a ridiculous amount of time the EXCUSE from the driver was that he was in the ""woods"" unable tocall out and couldn't communicate he was running late. 4 HOURS?! WHAT?! They don't care where their drivers are and don't care if you take 1/2 day off from work to WAIT for their guys to show up whenever they feel like it. NO protocal used or followed and NO communication with the customer! I had to contact them to schedue 1st delivery after product sat in their warehouse for a week. It's so blatently obvious that this company is incompetent at what they do. This is based on not 1 but 2 REALLY BAD experiences with Anchor Moving! I did't think lightening would strike twice but it did. This is not a ""coincidence"" - they're just a bad moving company. Plain and simple!
