BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and false advertisers are the two impressions Bella Vista Restaurant on River Road in Shelton made on me and my family. We were all very excited to try Bella Vista after purchasing a $50 coupon from Restaurant. com that very day. If you're not familiar with restaurant. com, it's a wonderful website that offers promotional and discount deals for many restaurants throughout the nation. This is where we found Bella Vista. After enjoying a nice dinner (the food was reasonably good and staff friendly), we were told by the staff that the $50 coupon we had just bought did not apply on weekeds. I explained to the owner that this is not stated anywhere on their advertisement, as exclusions such as these are usually explicitly written under the ""special considerations"" tab on restaurant. com. After admitting that the website was wrong, we were still denied the use of our coupon. This left a sour taste in the mouths of all 6 of my family members. We will not be revisiting this establishment. Be careful that they don't falsly lure you in too!
