Crispy, tangy Chat: was fabulous. Mix spinach pakoras were delicious. Date-tamarind chutney is PERFECT for this dish. it set up the expectations for the main course. All the portions were bigger then Akbar and the taste of all the items we had been trying had been consistence for the past 3 years unlike most of the other Indian restaurants. Sizzling assorted kabob platter was mouth watering. Tandoori Lamb chops were tender, delicious and melts in our mouth. my friend ordered Tandoori Lobster and he just loved it.
Lobster vindaloo was done perfectly: the curry itself was not as spicy but very good, very much memorable and much better then Bombay Club.
Karai chicken with fresh peppers, tomatoes and coriander has a delicious taste and wonderful texture. Bhendi masala and Shahi paneer with fresh ingredients were cook to perfection.
All the food was really great but the kicker were the fresh fluffy and soft butter nan which complemented the rest of the food.
We both asked the waiter and got plain salted lassi rather then mango lassi. It was absolutely refreshing.
We both topped this fest with great mango kulfi. The kulfi itself is worth coming again for..
Service was excellent: attentive without being overbearing. Every time my glass was close to being empty, it was immediately filled with water. Decor here is nothing to rave about but its a quiet place for peaceful dinner. The prices are amazingly reasonable. Its worth coming here thrice then going to Bombay club once for the same amount of money. .
