I decided to get a nice diamond ring for my wife to celebrate our 30th anniversary. We shopped around a bit to get an idea of pricing.
When we got to Benchmark Jewelers (in Grapevine Mills (Grapevine, TX)), we found a ring we liked at a price more than we wanted to spend. They really wanted to sell us the ring and after much negotiation we walked away with a much nicer ring than we'd set out to buy at only slightly more than we wanted to spend.
We got such a good deal that we had the diamond independently appraised the next week (we wondered if it was *too* good a deal). The appraisal matched what we were sold (though the appraised price was much higher than what we had spent). I'm very satisfied. My wife is very happy.
