In the old Flore's location on 620, this restaurant is one of the best interior mexican food places in the Austin area. The inside is totally redone, very tasteful, great bar and happy hour as well. All of the lunch specials are excellent and a bargain, try any of the dishes with the signature cochinita pibil and any of the sauces. Mole, adobo, verde, they are all exceptional. Even though it is relatively new, reservations are recommended for weekend nights. They just started a Sunday brunch menu, the huevos poblano are to die for and the full menu is served as well. If you like interior mexican food, you will love Santa Caterina.
