My truck was blowing white smoke. You did an analysis of it and thought it had a bad fuel filter. After the diagnostic and filter I believe it was about a $190.00 charge. The smoke went away for about an hour or so but, on my return trip home it started again.
I had the injectors tested when I returned home and found out that one of the injectors was bad. So, needless to say I did not need to spend $100 on the filter replacement. I had just replaced that filter the previous oil change. So, it was still good.
