I found TLC to be wonderful. We usually go to BHSAH but they misdiagnosed our Golden Doodle and a week later when I rushed him back they referred me to TLC because they were closing. That was a lucky break for our Woobie who was throwing up and really hadn't eaten the week after we brought him home from BHSAH- they diagnosed him with a virus or something and gave him antibiotics. We did blood work and x rays but they didn't see anything.
At TLC, the technician that came to admit our dog after Dr. Hsu reviewed his information from Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital strongly recommended another x ray. She said his symptoms (constant and repeated vomiting) looked like he had a foreign object in his stomach or intestines.
As it turned out he did have an object that was now in his intestines. We were going to transfer him back to BHSAH the next day but decided to go in and meet with Dr. Shih, the vet on night duty, and review the new x rays. We felt the staff seemed very nice and decided to have them do the gastronomy/ gastroplexy that evening.
