When I had a Toyota pickup, before some jackass rear-ended me on the 405 (::sniff::), I figured at 125K miles, it was time for a real tune up. I do the easy stuff, like oil/filter changes, my brother helped me with front brakes, I put in a new thermostat, things like that.
These guys pulled the heads, scraped the carbon from the pistons, checked the gaskets and timing chain...all too easy for these guys. I think the turn-time was a few days and the price was reasonable.
If you have car issues, don't go to your dealership just for them to charge you $90 for a ""diagnostic"", give these guys a shot first.
