Yard waste pickup 4/7/2011

It's yard waste pickup season again. I've paid the required seasonal bill in full and was told my first service would begin on April 7, 2011. I called ID and was told by the CSR that my yard waste would be picked up as schedule. When I pulled into my driveway this afternoon and the yard waste can still full, I really should not have been surprised that the yard waste can was not emptied. This is a repeat of poor service all over again. We went through this last season. I should have known ID would not meet their contractual agreement.. Last season I had to get into the habit of calling them every Wednesday to make sure they had us on the yard waste schedule. I know what is going to be said to me when I call the office on Friday at 7:00am, - I'll have to wait until next Thursday to have that can emptied. They won't make a special run Friday or Saturday to pick up the yard waste. That means I'll have to bundle and or put the clippings from the upcoming weekend in another receptical. Which I shouldn't have to do since I should have an empty 90 gallon canI was counting on to use. I've paid for a full seasonsal pickup and I'm not receiving what I paid for!!! I should receive service for what I paid for. ID poor service, I'm going to let the BEMA know that we may want to look for a different disposal service for our community. more
