I had a great experience with Christopher Duquet. He and Villi made the whole process of getting an engagement ring fun and pleasurable. My fiancee and I had been into the store before we got engaged just to look at ring ideas. After I decided I was going to propose I went back (alone) and talked with Villi about the process. I loved the idea of having a custom ring, but also wanted to keep the surprise aspect of proposing. Villi explained that I would select the diamond and they would place it in a presentation ring, which I could use to propose and my fiance could either keep that one or choose to come in and make a new one (getting full credit for if). The presentation ring itself was gorgeous, and we almost kept it! Villi also did a tremendous amount of work to find some Canadian diamonds as that was important to me and my fiancee.
After I picked the diamond and got the presentation ring, I proposed (she said yes!) and we went back to design our custom ring. The whole process was great and we really got to understand what went into designing and creating a ring. Villi and Christopher were very helpful and flexible, and we were able to see several designs and suggest changes before finally creating on the perfect ring.
I couldn't be happier with the ring that Duquet designed and created for us. My fiancee and I absolutely loves it, and I wholeheartedly recommend Duquet to everyone about to embark on the happy journey of marriage.
