and look at it. They took a string with washers on it, draped it across the mattress. The gap between the mattress and the string in 6 months was at least 2 1/2 inches. They said it was normal and there was nothing wrong with it. With more bitching and complaining, they finally came and picked it up to have it restuffed. They left us with no bed for over a week. We had to sleep on the floor. We got it back, it was great. A couple months later it started happening again. We had to call the manufacturer to get them to honor the warranty. We are upgrading to a better mattress for an extra $200.00. We purchased this in the beginning of 08. I have no idea where our receipt is. I told Les how much I paid for it. He remembered us. But wanted proof of purchase so he didn't feel screwed on the price. Also, he could find the proof in his paperwork, but didn't know if we purchased something else. Hello, we are upgrading, and paying for the upgrade. We are not asking for something for free. However, when we purchased this set, they had a store in our town. They closed down in my town. So we are dealing with the main store in Greer. Well... we can get the mattress, but, we now have to deliver the old mattress, and pick up the new one. I told them that we don't have the means to do that, Les informed me that they are going to charge us for delivery. Now wait a min. It's not our fault, that the mattress is defective. Not our fault that they closed their other store, which was around 4 miles from my home. So why do we have to pay to have the defective mattress replaced? We have a 10 yr. warranty on a piece of crap mattress, and WE have to pay for it to be delivered. We purchased it originally 4 miles from our house, and I believe we paid for delivery the first time. What the hell? They may be cheap, and nice, but you get what you pay for. CRAPPY BUSINESS!!! RIP OFF THE CUSTOMER EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. I hope they are happy. We have a pillow top, and around 3 months ago I flipped it. We are now sleeping on the wrong side of the mattress, and it is now starting to sink. Our backs are killing us. But like I said, we now have to pay $200.00 for the upgrade, and delivery. STAY AWAY!!!!!! more
