I was thrilled to find this adorable shop with great fabrics in the trendy village area of Battleground. How dissapointed I was with how I was treated. I called in and asked if they did any sewing for customers and the person who answered the phone said they did but only on occasion. She told me they would be happy to sew some extra fabric on some very nice curtain panels I have for my young daughters bedroom. I came in, picked out fabric and the next week came in to pick up my drapes. They look great and the quality of work was good. I asked the employee who helped me if she would sew more items for me and she said she would. I ordered a pillow out of the same fabric and left. I called after I hung my curtains to ask if they had any material in that I could buy to put at the bottom of my drapes as the hem was just a bit uneven and I thought that would take care of it. The person told me the hem was uneven on the manufactered drapes and I was fine with that, I made no complaint, was completely pleasant and satisfied. I called back to check on my pillow and was going to ask them to not make the pillow (if they already hadn't) because I am not in love with the fabric I picked. I believe the owner answered the phone and she said we are done sewing for you then, we did it as a ""favor"" to you and you hurt the persons feeling that sewed for you when you weren't happy. I WAS happy I just wanted to correct a little hem line issue, I wasn't asking them to do it! And a ""favor""...what business tells their customer they are doing them a favor for something they are paying for? (it is $15 an hour for sewing)! I cannot believe any business (especially a small, new business) would be that negative to a customer. I felt embarrassed that I had payed them to complete a service for me!\r
Very dissappointed and will not be going back nor will I recommend this business to anyone.\r
I have never written a negative review in my life, this was a very strange experiene and I feel it was the worst customer service I have every been a part of!
