Awful experience. We have seen this restaurant on Phantom Gourmet and decided it was worth a try, we were going to visit the one in Quincy but based on reviews decided to try Framingham. \r
At first glance, i was utterly disappointed, it was small and in a shopping plaza. We had traveled about a half hour to get there so decided we best try it. \r
The condiment bar looked just plain nasty. Things were dried out, so you know they had to of been there for a long period of time. The appetizer was just plain bland. We got the home made potato chips, onion strings and fried pickles. \r
For our meals, my boyfriend got the ribs with two sides, fries and baked beans. Come on now we live in New England how can you make bad baked beans? They were dry and just not appealing. I got the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and mac & cheese. The pulled pork was dry, not tasty, and cold. The bun was from the Stop & shop next door, I kid you not. The mac and cheese! Well considering i LOVE anything pasta and cheese i thought, how could this be bad?! It was brown in color and gritty. I thought BBQ and down south mac & cheese was supposed to be amazing. This was NOT. Oh, and I've had better coleslaw at KFC.\r
The gentleman who seated us is the guy who appears on Phantom Gourmet, nice guy. Our waitress was not at all the greatest. We went at about 5pm on a Tuesday. There was NO wait and about 10 people there. We had to wait for our drinks for about 10 minuets each time we ordered one. The waitress was rushing us, probably asked us about 8 times if we wanted to order our meals. I understand that if it was peak times you try to get people in and out, this was not the case at all!\r
The only good thing i can say is the drinks were pretty good.
