Incorrectly installed a Rinnai tankless water heater in my home 2.5 years ago. He failed to install condensation tube resulting in the entire unit failing because water leaked into the burners, gas valve, fan, etc. Also, measured gas pipe incorrectly to the unit. Took two of us to push the fittings together as they were off by almost an inch.
