JWS Masonry

I am a bricklayer who had the misfortune of working for Jesse Stephens, (owner?) of JWS Masonry on a project in Aurora, CO. A pay rate was verbally agreed upon (my mistake for not getting it in writing!) for the masonry work to be performed. It has been 3 months since the work was finished and I still have not received any compensation from Jesse Stephens/JWS Masonry. I am now faced with hiring an attorney out of my own pocket and suing JWS Masonry in court. I would advise strongly against working for this company, if one has an interest in actually being paid for work performed. more
