My wife and I live in Las Vegas, Nv. We make it a point at least once a year to visit the Imperial Valley in California as we have a great affinity for the area. For about the past 15 years we have stayed at the Don Juan Motel on 4th St. in Calexico. We have always enjoyed clean, comfortable rooms as well as the attentions of a staff both willing and eager to please. While this is not a five star motel it is nevertheless a good value for the money. The owners Richard and Sylvia have gone out of their way on more than one occasion to ensure that our stay is pleasant. This motel's proximity to the border is also a plus. If you are seeking good accommodations at reasonable rates you'll make no mistake by staying here.
