Nice place to live 3/7/2011

The office manager, Pam, does an excellent job of making us feel at home. We see her frequently and she's always been helpful and friendly. It makes a big difference when you have an on-site manager that is responsive (even proactive) about meeting your needs and satisfying your requests. \r \r The view from the top story balcony is really beautiful, especially in the fall when the leaves change. The windows are large and let in plenty of light and the layout really maximizes useable living space. As long as you don't need things like a pool or workout room, this place is the best in the area. The large windows require a little more of you in terms of utility expenses, but insulative light-blocking curtains make a big difference in our experience. Oh... and great location too!\r \r We've been here almost two years now and love having friends over in the large kitchen/dining/living area, building fires in the winter, and eating dinner on the balcony in the summer. We even use the (3rd floor) vaulted ceilings to store our bikes over top of the kitchen cabinets. :)\r \r A few cons: The utility bills can be a little expensive with the (3rd floor) vaulted ceilings and leaky windows. Floors are a little squeeky for those downstairs neighbors. Google Maps and GPS will lead all your friends astray when they try to find your apartment, so make sure to give good driving directions. more
