I brought in an XBox with a dvd drive problem. They assured me they knew the problem and could fix it. They were backed up though so it wouldn't be ready for 3 days. 10 days later, it was allegedly fixed. Now it doesn't work at all. The repair was done improperly. My XBox now lacks the ability to play XBox games. Isn't that great?
They charged me $95, and now it not only doesn't play games, but the display is completely distorted on my TV also. I called and told them this is not fixed and I feel like I just got mugged. The ""technician"" said he didn't know what to do about it.
So they tell you they can fix an XBox when they can't. But they definitely know how to charge your credit card.
If you're thinking of coming here to get your Xbox repaired faster than shipping it off to Microsoft, you will severely regret it. It took just as long as it would for mine to have been shipped out and back, but even worse, all my game licenses are now unavailable, and my downloaded content games are now trial versions.
If you have Microsoft do the repair, they will transfer your licenses for you and your console will come back in working order with no hassles.
Now I have to fight this company to fix or replace my XBox, and then once that is done, I have to fight with Microsoft fix all my game licenses so I can play the games I paid for.
I sincerely regret coming here, thinking that I could get a quick local repair and save myself the time (if not the money) from shipping my Xbox to Texas.
Spare yourself the grief. If it does take longer to have Microsoft fix your console, it will at least be fixed and everything will work when it comes back. I bet Microsoft even tests the console before declaring it fixed. This place assuredly did not.
