I've been to the bar portion of Gaffer's more recently, and really enjoyed it. The drinks are the cheapest I've ever seen, and their food is pretty good. Best place to go on this stretch of 99W, and open the latest (that serves alcohol, anyway). It's a nice place to go and spend a few late-night hours with friends, since the crowds aren't rowdy and the music isn't too loud.
The restaurant side is good too, for the times you want a daytime dining experience.
