We have had nothing but bad experiences with BCT of Hedgesville, WV. Earlier this year they put my cash deposit on hold for 8 days and caused over a dozen overdrafts. When I went to the branch manager she said she couldn't do anything about the fees (when it was clearly this banks fault). Needless to say I was upset. Now I had to drive all the way to Charles Town, WV to get them to give me back the overdraft money my local branch caused. This was just one of many errors this bank has caused...One other issue i think needs mentioning is: We had a health care reimbursement check come back to BCT for an over payment to me of $120. Without contacting me the BCT VP Tim Lewis put ALL my accounts on hold (according to the main branch asst manager Kim) and this is not just the account which the check came back to, so this caused overdrafts yet again and they have yet to reimburse me weeks later. Shouldn't someone say something when this happens? And good lord ALL my accounts??? I'm done. A word of advice in my opinion anyone reading this should steer clear of Bank of Charles Town. This is by far the most uncaring bank I've ever seen. Wait, this is the ONLY bank that has ever treated me in such an aweful way. The only thing I can do is switch banks and tell my story to all.
