I decided to stop by boardwalk for the first time after getting through with Pinch A Penny. It always seems to have people there when I get my pool supplies. I wasn't terribly hungry so I decided to get one slice. They had two pizzas on display already cooked for people whom only wanted a slice so I ordered the cheese pizza on the bottom rack with a pepsi. They told me to sit and they would bring it out. They had a modest amount of for-pick-ups (3-4) and probably 3 or 4 tables inside occupied so I sat outside. My pepsi came fast. After about 30 minutes I decided my weekend was too valuable to wait any longer for a precooked slice of pizza so I went in to the counter and told the cashier nicely that I was canceling my order and asked how much a pepsi cost and brought out three ones. She ignored me so I asked again how much a pepsi was. Still no answer and no look so I stepped back and looked at the menu. It was like 1.70 or something so I put my cup on the counter with three ones and walked out. I did mention in a normal voice that I wouldn't be back with a slight sarcasm in my tone. I think they?re approach must have been to do all orders in order, but my order was already cooked. It could have been brought out with my drink. I went down the street to Tuscany pizza and got two large slices and a pepsi to go in about 5 minutes for about $5.00. Boardwalk is definitely not dine in friendly. This is the only review I have ever made online of a restaurant.
