I have shopped at Tranquility Ponds for several years and have been happy with their expertise and product selection. So naturally when I needed a new pond pump it was the first place I went. Before going to Tranquility I did some online pricing to see what I could expect to pay for the new pump. I found the pump I needed and found I could expect to pay anywhere from $79.00 to $100.00. I went to Tranquility and found they had the exact pump I needed but their price was/is $179.00! I told the 'manager' Thank you but I can get it for less online. The manager then began to yell at me about being rude. That I had the nerve to come into his shop and inform. him that I can get it cheaper. That I was rude. I was bumbfounded. He went on to tell me it is because of people like me alway trying to get a deal that the economy is the way it is now. WOW. Isn't that what our economy is built on? Competition? This manager went on a tirade. I will no longer shop at this store. I told the manger that also to which his response was 'GOOD if you are only looking for deals then go somewhere else'. So if you are looking for a deal please go anywhere else besides Tranquility ponds! They are RUDE and expensive.
