My family & I have been going to Longboat Key since 1982 and the Dry Dock Restaurant is the first place we go after getting off the plane! We always order their handmade onion rings before our meal. They're not on the menu, but if you ask for them they will fix them. The fried grouper sandwich is the best anywhere around. It's lightly fried and juicy in the middle. The burgers are wonderful and juicy as well. The fried shrimp are also lightly fried, big, plump and juicy. All of the seafood items are fresh and reasonably priced. The service has always been outstanding and friendly. Oh, and they have the most amazing view of Sarasota Bay! Definitely the cherry on top!
