We have had very poor service when we have tried to get Pearland Animal Control to apply the city ordinances and control the animals in our neighbor hood. Their system of controlling problem animals is very ineffective, they have a lot of reasoning's and excuses for not being able to do anything. I even had one Pearland Police officer admit that the Pearland Animal Control way of dealing with problem pets doesn't really amount to any real results.
The Animal Control should be under a private business where there is competition to produce results, the threat of losing business & customers at least produces some decent results whereas the system of no choice with government agencies all you get is their notorious sluggish incompetence and inefficiency.
