H&R Block, my prison experience 3/22/2011

I would like to preface this by saying if I could rate this with negative stars I would. My experience with the H&R Block in Brighton, CO (530 E. Bromley Ln. Unit 135 ph. 303-659-3725) was similar to what I imagine being gang raped in a prison shower would be. I left there feeling violated, abused and disoriented. Somehow I had paid over $200 to a man in a suit called a "tax professional" who had "forgotten" to tell me about additional tax documentation I would be receiving prior to filing my taxes. It turned out this additional documentation made a difference of almost $1000 in my return. Was it too late to make this right since I had already filed my return as advised by this "tax pro", I asked? No the office manager Dee told me; they would file an amendment to my return that they fully admitted their "tax pro" messed up. The amendment, however, would take a month to prepare. Ah, now I understand where my $200 went...to pay for the salary of someone in an office sitting there with their thumb up their butt doing absolutely nothing for me. Phew, and here I thought $200 for a 1040EZ was highway robbery; glad we got that clarified wouldn't want that money to be a total waste! So here I sit for a month waiting for this miracle amendment to be prepared and looking forward to receiving the extra money in my return that I'm entitled to. After about a month and a week, no word from Dee who runs the show over there. So I called them to see the status of my amendment. After talking to 3 different people in the office, (who by the way have no file for me in their computer database therefore cannot tell me any information), I finally end up with Dee on the phone again. Good ol' Dee who promised me a check in the mail of $50 to refund part of my H&R Block fee, who promised my amendment complete and the problem rectified...good ol' Dee...sat on the phone after over a month of my patience and told me that the very person who prepared my taxes, Everett Watada, was in charge of my amendment. Now wait a second Dee, I remember I specifically told you that I didn't trust the er, um what do you call them, oh yeah...the "tax pro" who messed up my return to prepare any additional paperwork on my behalf. After a few moments on hold Dee came back on the line and tells me that my amendment was never prepared! Wow! Thanks H&R Block for making me grab my ankles and bend over for you not once, but twice now! So people of Colorado and Brighton specifically: if you're feeling lonely on a Saturday night or haven't had that special feeling from another human being in a while...head on over to H&R Block, undo your pants, bend over and I'm sure someone in that office would love to just screw you in the ass! Long story short, if I had the financial means to hire an attorney I would plan for an early retirement by suing the sh*t out of these people. So instead, I figured I'd share my raping experience with the public so you don't face the same degradation that I did. And in case you're wondering, I still haven't had my amendment prepared and probably won't ever see that $1000 that I'm entitled to. The best I can do is say NEVER EVER EVER trust any of these half brained "tax pros" to do your taxes. You're better off with a four year old with a calculator more
