This was the worst food and service that I think I have ever received. The claim to be a healthy grill is far from the truth.
My family visited Ziggys this afternoon, arriving about 220pm with an intent to have plenty of time to order drinks and food to be at our show by 4pm.
There were few customers in the facility, we were greeted on our way in and told to find a seat. We seated ourselves and waited more than five minutes for the waiter to come and take our drink order and another 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Not to mention they don't have the advertised happy hour beer on tap and didn't offer to substitute it. We placed our orders and waited another 35 minutes before receiving our food. I even asked one of the other waitresses how long it would be as we "had to be at a show at 4pm" as our waiter had not even been over to check on us. We had two orders for Ribeyes, they were supposed to be 8oz med-rare and medium with both of them being more than well done, not to mention they were only about 1/4inch thick and tasted absolutely horrible. My husband ordered meatloaf that looked and tasted like dogfood right out of a can. I ordered a quesadilla that was soggy. Again, this had to be the worst food and service. I had to stop another female waitress to summons our waiter to get us drinks as he never even came over to ask if we need anything else during our wait but rather he was over socializing with a co-worker. When our food arrived I asked for the check and again asked for the check about 5minutes later. I didn't receive the check so I went up to our waiter who was again socializing with a co-worker. When he went to ring up my order, I advised him that I would not be leaving a tip as this was the absolute worst service I had ever received not to mention I had to "ask for drinks" and the food was horrible, although I did acknowledge the taste of food was not entirely his fault, although it his his responsibility to ensure it is cooked and served properly and timely. Upon our leaving the resturant as we are walking by the window, he slams his fist against the window. My daughter goes back into the restuarant to question his banging his fist against the window and he said we didn't leave a tip, she asked to speak to the manager and he informed us he was the manager... if they have managers like that... then I know the quality of the service and food will not improve until he is long gone. SO, if your are the owner... you may want to check out your staff at the Ziggy's in Houston on Main Street... he needs to be replaced immediately!
