HOWEVER, a half a year later my wife and I needed to resize a watch and was encountered with a disgruntled, nasty, and unprofessional old man who is the owner of the store. We were not greeted upon entering the store, while he was not helping any customers at the counter. I had to approach him to get any help whatsoever.
My wife mentioned that it was difficult for her to come to the store due to the store's hours and her work hours. The owner took this as an insult (for some odd reason) and began speaking to her in a demeaning tone. I couldn't believe what was happened and was just stunned. I told him I didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to my wife and that we were just trying to get her watch resized..
The owner threatened to ""kick us out"" of his store. I still was in shock over the treatment we received. I decided it was not worth arguing with this wretched old man and left. He was yelling, ""get out of my store!"" as we left.
I'm not sure if he is senile or his demeanor is like this constantly, but I would never send anyone to this store. I'm also not sure if he is racist, as I am not caucasian. He is a fraud, especially when customer service is paramount when buying jewelry. Just because he has money doesn't mean you can treat customers like that.
Please do not give this man any of your hard-earned dollars, because once he gets it King Jewelers will treat you like third rate citizens.
