It's not hard to add to the bad things already written and that in itself is reason not to move in or rent an apartment from Independence Green. Although I loved the grounds, the apartment wasn't quality and maintenance had a hard time doing their job. Management was beyond rude. I had sewer from the upstairs apartment backing up in my bathroom that flooded three rooms. Then they sent in teenage boys to spray the carpet with enzymes and blow dry the feces infected carpet. They sent in an old maintenance man with dirty t-shirts to clean up the feces in my bathroom. When I asked them to reimburse me for shoes that were ruined and for wages lost when I stayed home to clean up the mess, they had a lawyer call me and tell me that "it was a city issue" and not Indpendance Green. Then when I moved out they charged me to replace the carpet!
