Average, not impressed 2/20/2011

Our son is 3 and has had eye issues since birth. We recently moved to Flagstaff from San Diego. We were referred to Az Pediatric Eyecare by our amazing doctor in SD. Right away I had scheduling issues as I was unable to come to many appointments due to the fact that I have to drive 2 hours with two kids, one being in school. The ""Answering Service"" was a wreck. The lady I first spoke with was polite at first then after I was unable to make the appt. she first mentioned she became short and impatient with me and then rude. This all happened after I had waited on hold for nearly 5 minutes. So I waited and called back and got someone who was much more polite and was able to get me a great appointment no problem. Dr P. was a good guy, seemed to know his business (as he should) I think we'll have a good relationship with him, we are happy with Dr. P. I have had to make more appointments since and AGAIN, was put in touch with a rude lady, and I hate the phone service. How out of touch is this establishment that they are too big to answer the phones, they need a separate service that could care less about the patients. If it was only Dr. P that I was rating, it would be a 4 but the service that comes along with this place is not so great. Receptionist at the doctors office was AWESOME! The check out, again, not so great. Overall, not impressed... :( too bad because my little guy will have to go here probably until he's 18! UGH! more
