It's about the MONEY not the animal 2/11/2011

This was a nice practice when Andrea first started it. Then it grew too big for her and she had to hire help and so it developed into a practice that had the main goal of ""see how many dogs we can do for money in the shortest amount of time "" thing. Then they started a protocol of taking the dogs from you in the waiting room and bringing them back to you, all without you ever seeing the vet or getting to talk to the vet. What you are left with is second hand information from a vet tech that is not qualified to answer your questions. If I pay my good money to a doctor, I expect to be able to talk to that doctor. The only way you could get an answer is to ask to have the vet call you later on. Good luck with that. The last straw for me was this fiasco :Mind you I had been a regular client and spent a couple of thousand there at that time already. ... My dog went into renal failure on a Thurs night and I called to get the dog put down the next day as he was in extreme discomfort and pain. I was told "" We are sorry but there is nothing available until next Tuesday."" That to me is the epitome of heartlessness. This combined with the business of charging for unnecessary exams ( for example, go in for a rabies shot and they tack on a bill for a physical which consists of checking temperature and respiration ) that have nothing to do with the ordered service. This last bit of gouging the public is one of the most prevalent problems with the vets in this area. I have been to many vets in many different states and this state is , by far , the worst I have seen for this issue. Not always an ethical way of doing business but that's what happens when money rules out over all else. more
