I came in with my dog (a Beagle) that had been attacked (mauled) by a bigger dog (pit-bull mix). It was late (after 9) and I had no idea where to take him. I looked this ER vet up and saw the bad reviews, but had no choice, I seriously thought my dog was dying! I called in advance and the person who answered the phone was extremely polite and helpful. Once I got there, I was immediately taken back to an exam room, and the nurse took my dog back to be examined. Within 15 minutes, I was told that they had sedated my dog (because he was obviously in pain) and the vet would take a look at him once the sedation kicked in. After about another 30 minutes, the nurse came back in and explained that initial indications showed that it was nothing TOO serious, but that they were going to have to shave him to get a better look. After they shaved him, the vet did her exam, then came in and explained what she initially saw, but that due to the location of the injuries, she would have to sedate
