I moved into the area in 2006 and initially used Certified for all my automotive repairs. I believe that over the past couple of years the quality of work has gone down while the prices have gone up. Here is a quick recap of my last two experiences with Certified which I guarantee you will be my last.\r
In May of 2010 I took my 10 year old Ford Van in to have the transmission fluid changed. After they performed their "courtesy" inspection they called with $1600 worth of repairs. Really, for a van that might be worth $2000?\r
In August of 2009 I had a catalytic convertor replaced for over $600. I was told at the time that the warranty was for 5 years or 60k miles. In November of 2010 the same catalytic convertor had to be replaced again. Josh said the thing basically came apart on the inside. They charged me over $600 again and said the warranty was a manufacture warranty and that they would try to get me my money
