Proceed with Caution 2/13/2011

I would be very cautious when using this jewelry store. I bought an expensive Cyma watch from them in 2006 and have not had good luck with the watch or the service. For the first year or so the watch was great, but then after about a year, the watch started running around 20 min late. I would reset it, it would run on time for 2 weeks and then slowly start to run behind. I took it back to Anderson's, they replaced the battery and said it would be fine. Not fixed. I brought it back again. They said they would look again. I brought it back about 4 more times before they said they were going to send it back to Cyma. They said they sent it back to Cyma who replaced the movements and it should be all set. It's still not running on time and it's Jan 2011. When I called to get the paperwork showing they sent it to Cyma, they said they never sent it to Cyma. I am now having to pay to send the watch directly to Cyma on my own to see what the problem is because Anderson's could never help. Very frustrating. Not a jeweler I would ever use again. UPDATE: I had my watch sent to Cyma directly and had to pay $200 to fix my watch. It was a very easy fix because Anderson's had lied to me and put in the wrong overhaul. Good news is that although I had to pay, it is now working like a charm. Bad news is that because Anderson's lied to me for basically 3 years I had to wait all this time to get it fixed, but alas I figured it out on my own. My review still stands that I would NOT recommend Anderson's. more
