At Uncle D's Transmission & Auto Repair, the final price was higher than what the quoted price was. They got it done pretty quick, but not when they said it would be done. I didn't expect it to be done on the time they quoted, and it wasn't complete when they said it should have been. That kind of turned me off.
RESPONSE FROM Uncle D's Transmission & Auto Repair:
we did his transmission for 2004 ford pick-up
we told our customer that usually it will take between one or two day in most cases unless we need to special order a part.
he came on 2/16/2011 and he pick up his truck on 2/18/2011, so in this case i think we did good.
In regards to the price the final price was higher because of the taxes and the shop supplied and the oil, but he also recieved a discount of $150.00, in this case i think he got a very good price and most importment a very good quality.
