I am an employee at Sky Satellite. Soldierlove's review is a very interesting considering that we have never sold door to door. So either this person is confused about who did their installation or it is a competitor trying to make us look bad.
I don't know about the other comment. There may be a legitimate issue there, however, typically when we get feedback about the installer not getting the receiver working before he left it was because the customer wanted it installed before they got a TV in that room so the installer was not able to test it before he left. The troubleshooting we do over the phone is to try and get the customer up and running as fast as possible so they don't have to wait for a service call later that day or the next.
