Why to avoid Fish Tales. Bad service and food.
Me and my mom went to Fish Tales expecting great, fresh seafood. We wasted our money. I ordered the red fish and my mom ordered the snapper. 20 minutes later, our food arrives, looks great and we are excited. I take a bit of my fish and it is way over cooked and chewy. My moms tastes fine, but we immediately realize that our two plates look identical even though we ordered different fish. The fish is served tail on so we know we have an identical plate. I wait for the waiter to come back so I can let her know. Slow service so I wait about 15 minutes. I ask the waiter if our fish are correct and she says yes. I informer her that the tails are the same and we have the same fish. She looks at me and says ""just go with it"" and walks off. She could not care less that I did not get what I ordered. I call her back to let her know its chewy because she ran away from me last time. She says she will have it replaced. At this point my Mom is finished eating and I am waiting to start eating. 30 minutes later my new fish arrives. And big surprise, its a completely different fish. I let her know and she looks and says ""oh"" and walks off. I am shocked at the service she provided. I eat my meal angry and we get our bill. She charged us for both fish even though she lied to me about what kind of fish I had and she was rude the entire time, not to mention slow service. We speak to the manager on our way out and he couldn't care less as well. We storm out in huge disappointment.
To sum it up, Horrible service, rude manager, terrible and overpriced food. Avoid at all costs. I am ashamed that this great location is wasted on such a horrible restaurant.
