If you look up ""dive bar"" in the dictionary there is a picture of Scoot. It has everything you need: shabby interior, faded wallpaper, pendulum light fixtures with dusty yellow bulbs, a large movie screen that is constantly playing some sort of film to tickle your pickle.

They have Irish whiskey. And it is CHEAP. Plus they have my favorite Texas beer on TAP, Fireman #4. Plus other good stuff that I won't reveal because you need to go and you want a surprise.
They also have an outdoor stage that plays some pretty cool stuff. Hopefully you are already heading to the Scoot as you finish reading this.
