I decided on this apartment without seeing it first. What a mistake. The building is disgusting. Not just because it is old (like 150 years old), but because it is dingy and dirty. Don't let the pictures fool you. Parking is a nightmare. The bar that is attached to the building has drunk people yelling and screaming all night long every night. Every day there is vomit near the doors that you have to avoid as you leave the building. Also, one week after moving in a pipe burst in the apartment above mine and destroyed everything I own. I realize that not everyone has their ceiling collapse on top of them, but the way management reacted to this disaster was to pretend like it didn't happen. I lived with no ceiling for a week. My constant phone calls went unreturned. Their final position was that there was nothing they could do. The apartment manager, Stephanie, is extremely unprofessional and rude. There is a reason why this place is a little less expensive. I would NOT recommend this place unless you have no need for sleep and do not care about your environment and personal belongings.
