Delicious! Highly, highly recommended. Do not pass through Fayetteville without making a stop at this wonderful restaurant. Its cozy and low key atmosphere is the perfect setting to enjoy hands-down the best sushi in the area. I reiterate: no sushi in Syracuse comes close to Kyoko's. My personal favorite is the Volcano Roll. DO NOT order this roll with the intent of sharing.
The ingredients are high quality: avocados are always fresh, fish is always fresh. The edamame is, at least every time I've been there (many times), satisfactory, as are the salads and soups, but, again, the sushi is where it's at. Nevertheless, the house salad is in a very tasty dressing that's a secret of Kyoko (they wouldn't disclose the recipe). The dumplings, both fried and steamed, are very good as well.
The service moves at an average pace; far from ""aweful"". I think most people expect sushi to be a ""quick fix"", but Kyoko's is a real restaurant where the chefs take pride in their work. My advice to anyone unhappy with speed of service is to keep driving straight down the street to wegmans and get some rolls from the Foodcourt--it takes like two minutes, and if you're so unfortunate as to be unable to appreciate Kyoko's sushi, you won't know the difference.
Again, great sushi. The Volcano Roll tops my list, but I would also recommend the Dragon Roll, and any of the standard rolls (Phili, Cali) are great, too.
