After checking out some of your competitors, we found that none of them gave us a very good comfort level. One of the lower end companies wouldn't even give us the time of day until we agreed to pay them a non-refundable fee to come spec the space first. Their product selection was minimal and their lead times for installations were extremely long. The higher end companies put way too much emphasis on ""stain guard and undercoating"" type add-ons to drive margins and total ticket price. And their products and prices seemed to start at a lot higher level than we were comfortable with.
